Do these ‘internet optimizer’ software that compress data really have an effect on your data bills? I mean do they compress incoming/outgoing data traffic such that it (the traffic) is lowered hence lowering your costs on bandwidth? I have a volume based DSL 256K Package with a 2GB limit. ( I don’t prefer Google web accelerator as all the reviews I’ve read say it has spyware)

But instead, it made the situation worst. Now i’m confused which one will i uninstall to free up some memory and do i have to uninstall the ram booster? Anyway, do you think my choice is good? What are the pros and cons? Is $499 + s&h the final price if I buy it from the site?
