Need recommendations for a good antivirus software that can also be used for removing Trojans, adware, spyware, etc. In the past used Spy Sweeper, but it was getting pricey to renew each year plus it did not have any antivirus capabilities. Basically I want to pay one price for a piece of software that will do all of this – but not finding any. I see either antivirus software or adware/spyware programs – but none that combine both features.

Currently I am using avg Free edition, easy to use, and seems to get rid of viruses and spy ware pretty swiftly. I would recommend it if you don’t want to spend a tonne of money of anti virus software
