Circle Takes The Square asked:

I got hit with several nasty bugs on Sunday. I seem to have got them all removed, but it changed some of my system settings before I got rid of it. It disabled my task manager, regestry editer, and locked my desktop wallpaper to display a link to a Ad for some anti-spyware program (I obviously didn’t download this.)

I managed to restore my Task Manager and Regedit, and Ad-Aware got rid of the annoying link, but I can’t unlock my desktop theme. Any suggestions?
Spybot actually picked up a few things my other 3(!) didn’t get. However, the desktop background is still locked out.

It must be a registry problem, I just don’t know which one….

You need to rid your computer of ALL spyware. Use Spybot – Search & Destroy 1.5.2 -link below-
